Questa è una raccolta di improvvisazioni notturne per piano registrata nel marzo del 2019.
Contiene idee, appunti e forme che caratterizzano la mia relazione con la musica pianistica da più di venticinque anni.Frammenti e momenti sono connessi nel tempo dalla memoria. I gesti musicali possono essere a volte un po' old-fashion, inspirati alla musica per Piano dei secoli passati che amo.
Le sequenze di due, tre o cinque movimenti vengono qui proposte in unica traccia perché penso che debbano essere ascoltate come pezzi interi.
Improvvisare al pianoforte e con altri strumenti è sempre stato per me un importante esercizio, fonte di idee. La musica improvvisata è stata spesso un punto di partenza per una nuova composizione, o un mezzo per creare materiali sonori da utilizzare.
I titoli fanno riferimento alla poetica del compositore veneziano Gian Francesco Malipiero, gran maestro musicale della mia regione di origine.

This is a set of Piano nocturne improvisations recorded in April 2019. It contains ideas, sketches and shapes that characterize my relationship with Piano music since at least 25 years. Fragments and moments are connected in time by memory. Music gestures can be sometime old-fashion inspired by the Piano music I love, of the past centuries.
Sets of two, three or five movements are here proposed in a same track, because I think that they should be heard as a whole composition.
Improvisation on the Piano, and also on other instruments, have always been an important source of ideas for myself. Improvisation has been often the starting point of a composition, or a mean to build up music/sound materials.
The titles make reference to the poetic of the Venetian composer Gian Francesco Malipiero a great music master of my region of origin.
